New Haven Correctional Center Visits
CT DOC visiting rules apply at New Haven Correctional Center. The DOC visiting page says a visitor must be on the inmate's approved visiting list, and visits can be canceled for safety or security reasons. DOC also says visits are not held on listed state holidays. Visitors should confirm the facility and status before travel because custody and visit privileges can change.
The New Haven facility page says social visits are available. Effective December 2, 2024, in-person visits no longer need to be pre-scheduled. Two in-person visits per week are allowed.
